Haha ya I know I haven’t touched this in forever. When I made the blog it seemed like a kick ass way to kill some time at the end of the school year, but now it’s just the red headed stepchild that I will probably recognize around this September when I’m very bored at school again. I’ll try to give you guys an update on whats been going on over the past month or so.
As far as grades went, I ended up with a 3.6 for the spring semester and I was very pumped. What made me even MORE pumped was the fact that I could know press the delete key inside my brain and throw away 90% of the information I learned!
So the start to this summer started off very uneventful. It was generally cold all the time and I couldn’t start working on the lake until it actually warmed up a little. I think it was Durkheim who said something like shit goes crazy in times of normlessness (No, it wasn’t EXACTLY that and YES, I guess that is part of the 10% I retained), and thats exactly what happened in this little period. For about a year I have been like the outcast among my friends cause i had a PS3 and not a 360. I would constantly have to defend things like PS3’s FREE online and how it was more than just a video game machine. Well, I decided I was going to go over to the dark side; I bought a 360. After playing it a lot I kind of have formed an opinion on how the 2 consoles are at making me happy. The 360 is a 30-rack of Bud Light, and the PS3 is a bottle of Grey Goose. Whenever I play the 360 it just feels loud (literally) and boisterous and EXTREME; while the PS3 feels ultra cool and sleek and stylish. I really can’t say if I like one console better than the other because there are games for both that I love, but there is a definite difference in playing the 2.
WOW, I love how a post about my summer so far turns into video games, but truly up until about 2 weeks ago my whole summer was pretty much video games and partying.
I finally did start working on the lake cleaning seaweed a couple weeks ago though and for as boring as it is, it still puts money in my pockets. I would like to say that it is really eventful and we do a lot of fun stuff, but so far none of that has really happened.
Perhaps the highlight to the summer so far was me going to Cleveland last night (a Tuesday night) to see TIESTO. For anyone who isn’t “techno savy”, TIESTO is probably one of the greatest DJ’s in the world if not the greatest (or at least most popular). I went with my boys Will and Mikey T and it was a crazy time. Everything from getting attacked by a shitload of bugs in line to having my eardrums on the verge of bursting as I raved for a good 6 hours straight. It was an amazing time and I would definitely do it again if I had the chance. The ride home was very rough and I almost fell asleep a good 3 times until Mikey T just drove the car for me as I tried to sleep. We stopped at a random Waffle House which was a good time and ended up getting back in Jamestown around 5AM. I ended up sleeping in til about 2PM and even then I was still in a trance from the previous night. Hopefully tommorow I’ll be able to resume some sort of normal schedule but who knows.
One last thing before I leave, Metal Gear Solid 4 is the shit. I’ve been waiting for years for this game to come out, and it was well worth the wait because it is amazing. I beat it a couple nights ago after putting a good 20-some hours on it over the weekend. If your reading this there is a good chance your one of my friends and have heard me rave about how badass the game is, but if you haven’t heard, then yes, this game is badass. Yes, this game is probably one of the greatest games if not THE greatest game I’ve ever played. And YES, I need a girlfriend haha.
Well maybe now that I decided to post something after my little laziness hiatus I’ll post a little more often, but until then…

Ya so I really haven’t updated this thing in forever because I have been totally swamped with homework. Sorry (to the whole 3 or 4 people that might actually stumble over this site). I could bore you with the details of the different papers I have to write, but I won’t today .
Instead, I need to talk about how awesome the weather is in Buffalo for a change. Holy crap, it’s amazing up here now. Like I know its not even 60 out but its so sunny and still way better than seeing snow and crap. Plus, all this weather keeps on reminding me that I’m done with school in exactly 3 weeks (last day of classes is April 28th). Of course I do have 2 finals to worry about on May 6th and 8th, but who cares!? I’m getting insanely antsy.
Ok, so over the past couple days I have become really obsessed with messing around with my iPod and figuring out how to get stuff to play, and I have come across one of the coolest things ever. Here’s a little tutorial on how to get your iPod to play ANYTHING you ever wanted.
1. Go to www.veoh.com. Then, look on the right side and find the link that says VeohTV. Download it.
2. Once you have VeohTV installed and everything, click on the search tab up top
3. Search for whatever you like and once you have, click on the little button on the right hand side that says add to library.
*note* You gotta figure out on your own where your files are being downloaded to. I’m sure you can just check the menu and see where its going and set it to go to your video folder or something (thats how its like on my computer)
4. Once you have all your things downloaded, go to http://www.winff.org/ and download that.
5. After you get that all installed, just add whatever file you have to the list and mess with the settings on the bottom to get the file how you want it. If your using all this for your iPod then just select “Ipod” for the file you want it converted to, XviD for Ipod (4:3) as the size you want it, and then select whatever folder you want it saved to.
6. A little screen will come up and your files will get converted. It does take a while so I usually just have the files get converted while I go to bed and they are usually all ready for you in the morning.

Wow, that was really random but I guarantee if you have an iPod this is like the coolest thing ever. The files that you download from VeohTV aren’t like DVD quality, but on an iPod screen it looks amazing. The WinFF thing isn’t just for converting to iPod and you can use it for like almost anything. It’s just so badass. Like so far I’ve downloaded so much anime that I never really get the chance to watch (cause I don’t have the DVD’s). Like ALL of Samurai Champloo, Cowboy Bebop, and Paranoia Agent. PLUS the Evangelion movie. TOTAL NERD-GASM!
See, you learned something by actually looking at my blog for once instead of hearing me try and remember everything that happened in a day of my life haha. I hope I’ll be able to update this again soon but I just never know with all the essays and homework I get.
Well, I had a huge long thing typed when all of the sudden EVERYTHING got erased. Don’t ask me how, but it did and now I’m just gonna say screw the big update lol.
Here’s your sparknotes version. The musical was pretty good, even though the dancing in it was REALLY bad. Everyone I knew did good. It was also good seeing all my friends I haven’t really seen or talked to in a while at various different little parties and things like that. Wrestlemania over at Will’s house was a really good time.

I came to the realization that if I am not typing in this thing that it’s probably a good sign cause that means I’m really busy, and when I type in this that means I have way too much free time (like right now). Anyways, the past couple days back have been really good at school. I got some of my tests back for the classes I was stressing out last week for and in the Roman Civ class I got a 102 (ya, a 102, holy shit haha). Ya, I am to Roman Civ as Will is to Civil War. Plus, the other class that I absolutely hate where the test made no sense, I ended up pulling a B+ which was in the top 10 grades in the class (of like 80 or so). That’s good I guess. But, after I heard that I got my paper back from a couple weeks ago that was super long and I had spent like at least 10 hours on, and it was a B+. Now I’m not going to complain about the grade because its good, but I am so angry about how she graded it. Like it says in the comments at the back “one of the most well-written essays with most information in the class”. But then it also says something like “You never picked a side to argue for”… Now I’ve always been under the impression that a paper based on research and essays should examine both sides and give them the same amount of weight (which I did), and THEN at the end give a paragraph or two to state your own opinion (which I did). Now all of a sudden, after the papers are handed in, she decides to let me know its an argumentative paper. My question is, how the hell do I write an argument for a paper about water supply? “It is important to save water instead of waste it”… NO SHIT. She wanted that out of my paper. I hate that bitch…
So I got all those back, did my little workout, and headed home. Yesterday might have been a low point in my life in terms of amount of video games played. I played SO MANY video games (like 5-6 hours). I eventually did some homework and studying, but yesterday was just pure laziness. Today sort of is turning into pure laziness as well until I have to go to class at 5. Actually, I do have a football draft tonight for a Sim League I’m in at the Buffalo Bills message boards where pretty much I am creating a team with another guy to play against other teams. Like fantasy football on speed. Anyways we are the North Olean Flyboys and we are going to run shit.
Speaking of football, THE BILLS GOT 2 EXTRA DRAFT PICKS! That sure gave my day a lift yesterday too cause now we can have an even better draft. I’m so pumped for Bills it’s getting scary. Like Bills season starting and summer starting are about equal in my head right now.
So I know that a lot of you *COUGH* Jamie Budzinski *COUGH* are too lazy to read anything that I write because your illiterate, so I thought I would give a little view of my weekend via the magic of photography!!! OOOoooo, Aaaahhhh!! I’ll write more later because I haven’t seriously written anything in this for a while, but this will give you an idea of what happened over the weekend.
OK, so my weekend back home is going pretty good. I’m gonna write more about it on Monday when I’m actually fairly not-busy (I don’t know if that last part was even English). Basically though I was at the musical tonight and everyone that I knew in it did good so thats all I really cared about haha. Dancing though was a different story… But thats another story for another day, which is Monday. I’ll leave you guys with this video though because its the tits.
Today has been relatively uneventful, but I guess thats ok. I can tell you one thing for sure, I’m not gonna be ranting on about anything in this post because I am too exhausted to care right now haha. I’m done with my 2 classes and I’m currently at the UB library writing this while I wait for my 3 hour night class that I have once a week called Social Problems. Just what I love, 3 hours of sitting in a class while March Madness is going on! I’m sure you don’t really care that much but for me this sucks pretty bad.
So the highlights over the past day are seriously these…
1.) I beat the main part of Smash Bros. Brawl!!! I’m so badass
2.) I reached level 20 in Guild Wars for my Ranger/Monk!!!! Mmmm baby thats gonna get me all the ladies this weekend
Ya, it’s one of those days.
Tomorrow should be a little more interesting because I’m gonna be back home for the weekend. I’m hearing rumors about tomorrow night possibly involving an Erie trip so that could be a pretty crazy time. Regardless, anything is better than me spending my night in a classroom at UB.

First off I’m gonna start talking about last night. I’ve been having tons of crazy dreams recently and I can never actually remember them in the morning, but it’s getting ridiculous now. This dream I remembered though for some reason. Pretty much the dream was just me driving in a car and I couldn’t see anything. Like I could see some light, but not much. Like imagine driving in pitch black conditions and instead of having headlights you have like glow sticks on the car. Well I am driving or whatever and I just start to spin out going super fast and before I crash I wake up and am sweating. Now a couple of you probably heard my story about how when I was coming home for spring break I literally did a 540 going down the highway cause I hit some black ice. AT THE TIME, I thought it was SOOOO awesome haha. Like doing a total 360, plus an extra turn so I’m facing oncoming traffic and actually living, DAMN! I actually got out of the car to see if everybody else was ok (some other guys spun out too in front of me) and I remember saying exactly “That shit was like Gran Turismo!”(I honestly think that if I wasn’t such a nerdy Gran Turismo gamer that I really would have died cause I was pulling out like ALL the moves). I called Will after it happened too and you can just ask him how pumped I was after this all happened cause I left him like a 5 minute voicemail lol. WELL, now I keep thinking about that whole thing and its really starting to freak me out. Like when I actually sit back and think about how lucky I was it really freaks me out. Like I really could have died. Now I’m having dreams about it. UGHHH!!! I feel like the dude in “The Raven” who just goes crazy cause of a little retarded bird.
Well enough of all that, I woke up after maybe 3 hours of sleep and left to go to my test for my favorite class *sarcasm* Intro to Cultural Geography!!! PARTY!!! Ok, not really. Here’s a little background info. This is one of those kinds of classes where the teachers has no idea what she is doing. She will literally come in the class, say something like “Water supply is a problem”, and then be like “now, find a partner and discuss”. THAT IS THE CLASS, I am not joking, literally, that is the class haha. So we have a test today and it is like 55 questions that are multiple choice, but she has to be so different and she makes each question have 2 solutions. I will admit that for a lot of the questions that it makes the test very easy, but for about half of the questions there is no clear answer. Like I never have been good at picking out the better correct answer if there are 2 correct answers, and this test is just full of them. Like say I asked you, “What is the purpose of me asking you what 1+1 is? A. to add the 2 numbers or B. to know the answer is 2″. Like half the questions are this. Also, a lot of the questions aren’t even things that apply to geography. Like seriously she asked about aspects of religion in 4 or 5 questions that have nothing to do with anything we read.
The final thing that pisses me off SOOOO much is she asked a question about fuckin Al Gore’s “An Inconvenient Truth”. I cannot stand Al Gore. Like my retard teacher preaches how we have to cite everything in our papers and how we need our own ideas, and then she goes out and praises a guy like Al Gore who probably made a million bucks off of copying what other people discovered. Just read this, you’ll know why I think he’s a pile of monkey crap. Well, the question she asks is like “Why is the Truth, Inconvenient?”. The choices were A.) people do things inconveniently in poor countries (or something along those lines) or B.) Americans are naturally lazy and don’t want to change anything. I shit you not, I wrote in a option C and made it “C.) Al Gore is making millions of dollars off of hippies because they want to hear how bad Republicans messed up the world”. Now I picked choice B cause I knew that it was the answer she wanted and I didn’t want to really fuck my grade up, but that question got me really fired up. Maybe I just didn’t get enough sleep and I was really cranky still, but I rubbed me the wrong way. I don’t really consider myself either a Republican or Democrat because I rally have a little bit of both. But I really do think its getting to a point for some people where they say they are Republican or Democrat just based on how they feel about George Bush. “You like George Bush, ok, your Republican. You think George Bush is a pile of shit, ok, your a Dem.” If you call yourself Democrat JUST because you think peace is cool, love is awesome, and George Bush is a moron; just sleep in on election day and plant a tree or something. Now I know there are Democrats in the world who do know what they are talking about and I respect (people like Mikey T), but it’s the people who act like they are political pundits when they don’t know anything that get me going.
DAMN, this post is getting too political and serious too fast. I’ve already covered almost dying and my position on politics, holy crap. I’m going to stop writing about that stuff right now.
Well, the rest of the day has gone a lot smoother since my little fun experience in the morning. I had my Roman Civ class after the test and it was pretty good, I went to work out, and then I came home and had some lunch. ALSO, I figured out how to take the dust screens off of my windows downstairs so now I have clear windows (no dust really came in anyways and having a clear view of my backyard is pretty cool for a change). I ended up getting my nerd on for a while and playing Guild Wars for a couple hours too. I have no idea what I’m gonna do now because I’m pretty bored (obviously, I’ve written like over 1000 words already). Maybe I’ll watch some anime or play some Smash Bros Brawl. Whatever, anything is better than having to stress out like I have been for the past 3 or so days with tests, jury duty, and papers. Now I’m done with all that stress, tyme 2 let some brane sells dye!!! VIDEO GAMES!!!!!!!!!!!!!
PS -The Sabres piss me off. Last night’s game literally might have been what caused me to think about dying and stuff in my dreams subconsciously because I felt terrible after the game. We were up 3-1 with less than 10 minutes left, give a short-handed goal, and then 4 more goals in 8 minutes?!!??! I guess I’m start of starting to accept that this year’s team just isn’t the past 2 years and thats that. I just need the Bills to get here soon
PSS - Speaking of Bills, I got my Bills season tickets paid off for next year with Jon. YESSSS!!!! If I ever have bad days I really honestly just start thinking about how awesome the season is going to be next year. We’re in the best section (THE ROCKPILE BABY) with drunk fights EVERYWHERE, the Bills will actually be better (laugh at me now, but trust me, they will be better), and I’m gonna be turning 21 like 2 weeks into the season (September 27, God was good to me and decided to put my 21st birthday on a Friday. YES!! haha). Plus next year me and Jon are going to go all out with tailgating and we’re gonna have people come with us (maybe even you?). Pretty much we’re gonna set up a site with a big canopy tent, charcoal grill, food and drinks, and a portable tv and just party before the game starts. If you are one of the lucky many to come with us, you can just stay at the site and party and watch the game outside Ralph Wilson Stadium on the TV we’re gonna bring and have all the food and drinks that you need. Tell me if you want to do this because the more people we can get the better. There are lots of other people who do this whole strategy too so you probably could make some friends with drunk Bills fans!

PSSSS - Wow, thats a lot of S’s, but this is important. UB announced who was gonna be doing Springfest this year and T Pain, Akon, and MIMS are all doing it! Stoners at UB are probably so pissed right now cause every single act there is rap (some other group is in it too and they are rap). I’m actually kind of happy because out of all the music I listen to, no other kind of music besides rap gets me super pumped for Summer. *me in super white voice* I am perhaps thinking of buying you a beverage, ooo weee ooo, I am taking you to my estate with myself. TPAIN!!! haha
So like I was talking about, last night was just my get shit out of the way type night so today would run smoothly. I end up getting to bed around 1 after talking to Tony about how much I hated super liberal people and Al Gore haha. You would think that my bed at my REAL home would feel normal and that I would get a good nights sleep right? Wrong. I probably got a total of 3 hours sleep last night because I was was freezing and couldn’t really get comfortable…great. So I wake up and ask my mom what the whole deal is like and says I probably could be there til 5 possibly. I could hardly contain my excitement *cough*.
I then head off for Mayville. I get there at like 8:45, but I realize I’m in the completely wrong area so I try to find out where I need to be and end up running into the courtroom just as everything is about to start. I’m already starting to feel how awesome the day could be. I don’t know how many of you guys have had to do jury duty or whatever but it is the most awkward feeling of all time. Like literally its 80 people in a room speechless, no one is talking. AND, to make things worse, the seat that I originally was sitting in got swiped by some redneck bitch as I was signing in so I had to literally sit in the front row of the courtroom, GREAT. AND, when I signed in I told the lady there something like “is there any way I can get out of this cause I have a big test tomorrow” and she’s like “I’ll see what I can do”. Well, as everyone is leaving this other lady walks out and singles me out in front of everybody and says “I’ll have a word with you later” like in the tone “your not above the law, your fucked, you can’t get out”. After this whole thing they show us a movie and it’s about how great and fun serving to be on a court is! It sort of made me decide that the next party I go at I’m just going to have people leave the party and sit in a room with 80 strangers cause it is just so much more fun!!! Well, after about 2 hours at the court, the judge walks in. The next couple lines went a little something like this…
“I have some good news that might be bad news. This morning we were supposed to have 6 criminal trials, but only 1 showed up. The 1 that did decided to show up is a pussy and doesn’t want to face a trial. You can all go home”
WHAT A WASTE OF TIME!!!! This whole rendezvous cost me like 25 bucks in gas money getting there and back to Buffalo! Uhh. I’m not going to complain as much as Kyle Rice though. He was in the same jury pool as me too and he told me that he was going to go down to Daytona Beach but because of jury duty he didn’t get to go. I would have been SOOOO pissed if I were him.
Well, I figure I have some free time before I go back up to Buffalo so I go to the Y, get some lunch, go to the mall, and then go to my bank. Finally, I just decided I would just drive up to UB so I could make my one class that starts at 5 PM. Surely enough, the class was completely pointless and I could have missed it haha. The teacher in the class literally sounds like the girl in this clip. Like I wish I was kidding but every sentence she says ends off with her in a really high pitch and about how much AWESOMER (ya, I said it) Portland is than Buffalo. I ended up playing the Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass for the entire class and when I finally did leave I froze my butt off running through freezing rain.
I guess now I should start studying a little more for this test tomorrow. Hopefully I’ll be completely done in like 2 hours or so and I can just be done with it until tomorrow. I think that around noon tomorrow is going to be the happiest Wednesday of my life just because I will be done with everything! The papers that I needed done by Thursday are done, and there is no way that anything important is going to happen on Friday really anyways since I had tests in both the classes this week. I may even skip them, who knows. All I know is that I am getting REALLY pumped for this weekend because I have a feeling its going to be a really good one!
I cannot stand college sometimes. I hate to be like the billion other people who bitch about homework and tests never stopping but ya, I hate how tests and homework NEVER STOP. This morning I wake up knowing that today would be sort of weird because I didn’t know how today would shape out. So I have some breakfast and drive out to my first class of the morning at 10. As soon as I get to class she starts talking about a test coming up. Now we just finished this super long paper a couple weeks ago that we had worked like a month on, so I really wasn’t expecting it to be soon…Ya, it’s on Wednesday. I might not even be in Buffalo on Wednesday if I get picked to be on the jury tomorrow (I had to come home for jury duty, more later). It just pisses me off how I came into the day thinking that a test this morning was the only thing I had to worry about, but now I figure out I have a test on Wednesday. FUCK! After that class I go to my Roman Civ class for the test, which was fairly easy I thought. So that was cool at least. Then I went to work out for a little bit and went back to the house to wait until 5 to see if I was coming home.
Somewhere in the stage of me waiting for 5 PM and getting out of class I started thinking about looking at classes for next semester. So I go to the little MyUB site and look around. I then decide to look at the classes I’m taking this semester to see if grades and stuff are up when I find out that I have 2 assignments due on Thursday that I had completely forgotten about. FUCK!!!! Luckily, the one I had pretty much finished and the other one is just a little 3 page paper on poverty. It all just pisses me off though cause it seems like yesterday when I had just finished a bunch of big papers and had tests, and now I have to do it all over again. I cannot wait for summer.
So it gets to be about 5 and my mom calls me telling me they called and said I have to come in. Great. So I pack up some of my stuff and drive home. Side note - $43 to fill up my tank?!?! I could probably go to Saudi Arabia and buy my own personal hooker-slave for that kind of money and carry me anywhere I wanted to go! Well, whatever, I get home (with weak attempts by Erin trying to text me about how bad the Red Sox suck and the Yankees rock…sure…) and thats where I’m at now. I’ve finished about half of the one paper and am probably going to get it done tonight just so I’m not a complete wreck tomorrow worrying about a paper and studying for a test (AND possibly not even being at the test if I get picked).
So tomorrow I get to drive to Mayville at 9 in the morning to chill at court. I’m really just contemplating acting like a giant racist-sexist-douchebag so nobody in their right mind would pick me to be on a jury because I really don’t want to be there. At least the classes I will be missing tomorrow are going to be fairly meaningless so there is a possibility I could get back to classes on Wednesday and not have missed a thing.
Wish me luck tomorrow. If you feel like really helping, just channel all of your shitty mood vibes to me so I can be evil in the morning and nobody will pick me.
PS - I’m watching this Ohio State NIT game right now and oh my God those fans are so gay. Like a guy had an airball in the first half and its now halfway into the 2nd half and they are still chanting “AIRBALL AIRBALL”. I know its part of the strategy to be asshole fans to get the other team off of their game, but really, its the NIT tournament. It’s like a parent chanting “RETARD RETARD” at the Special Olympics when somebody besides their own kid is competing. Get a GRIP OHIO STATE (Sorry Braley…ARGH!)
